Nonionic emulsifying wax that produces O/W emulsions which are stable over a wide pH range and unaffected by moderate concentrations of electrolytes. The good wetting properties of Crodex N facilitate contact and penetration of actives in dermatological applications. Also used in anhydrous ointment bases and barrier creams. Recommended topical usage levels of 5-20%.
