Byco
Bycos are produced by enzymatically hydrolysing pharmaceutical grade gelatin under carefully controlled conditions.Bycos dissolve in cold water, but do not readily form gels, except for the higher molecular weight types which exhibit weak gelling properties at high concentrations (above about 20%) and at low temperatures (below 15ºC). At lower concentrations and ambient temperatures Byco solutions generally remain fluid.
