Glyceryl monoesters are widely used in pharmaceutical applications as emulsifiers, stabilisers, lubricants, dispersing aids and plasticisers. The most common derivative is glyceryl monostearate; however other variants including glyceryl monooleate and glyceryl monoricinoleate may be made available on request. All solid grades are supplied in easy-to-handle pastillated or powder form. Where a choice exists, animal or vegetable-based grades can be supplied.
